Master VS Control

Tal Something has got me to thinking and I want to put this out to All, Gorean, Master, slave, NonGorean etc. We all have to live in the Vanilla world, our jobs, family etc are just as much a part of us as Gor is to me. When a Master or Mistress takes the submission of a slave what are the limits. Yes I train my slave, but does that mean control her. As Master do I look at her mail, her email, tell her who she may talk to and see and who she can't? Do I control her thoughts? her speech? Is every minute of her life, no matter what aspect of it mine to tell her what to do?

though i may be a slave let me try enlighten you to what we feel and know of be one with our masters,
when training a new slave i believe that must make her dependent on you to to establish the level of trust that you want.
she must come know your looks and gestures and what they mean by them the pure fact that may take away speech if need be or denie her your voice toi train her you then must make them simple to know.
as for those thing that are not necessity take them away at first make it that she must know that it is all or nothing there is no backing out of what she is learning that she must depend no you or she will be miserable.
women are weak without men make this weakness apparent to her making that so only she seek your approval in every thing that she does, that when your approval is give she will feel the pride that most Kajira feels when she has pleased her master you see her glow with this pride and it carries through her whole body in way she walk to ways she does her daily chores she wants to do your every bidding,
to own her mind and control it i believe is know her want even before she does,this make take a few weeks to a month,
first you know her body and how reacts to everything around it and to control her emotions
this is the key.
A women is run by her emotion that why women need men because they run on logic,
why women worries all the time is because they skip the logic part and strait to there emotion,
if you can make so that you know they emotion of your Kajira then you can begin to control them making her mind your to control,
want to make her worried give her a reason to or her to want passion give her a triggers and her mind goes strait there woman work around tiggers any from thought of a fear to a romantic movie.

An interesting question indeed, and somewhat of an irony.
IMNSHO, If you have "Mastered" something or in this case someone, you have the necessary control to make it do what you want it to do.
You have studied and learned its ways and its quirks and have developed the skill, knowledge and techniques to coax or wring out of it what you will. You have achieved a certain amount of "Oneness" with it to make it an expression of yourself. In the case of a slave, she should do this as a part of who and what she is, almost unconsciously.
Whereas "Control" (I'm referring to control of outter things) is simply providing direction and requires only rudamentary knowledge of how the thing works. And there, I think, lies the difference. One is an art and a passion, the other simply knowing which buttons to push or levers to pull. Control is in the head, Mastery is in the heart.
Slavery, like Bondage, gets more intense with time. The foundation is trust. If I felt the need to read her mail or emails or tell her who she could and could not associate with then there is no trust.
We live in two worlds yet we're the same (Masters and slaves) in both. The agreements and protocols may be more subtle in the Vanilla world, but they're still there. A nod, a glance or a muted gesture is all that it takes to make that connection.

(Note the you in the following statements is meant as a generic you and not directed to any specific person.)
What are the limits of her submission? What you allow. If you want to micromanage her then more power to you but I have neither the time nor the inclination to do that. Do I tell mine who they can talk to, see, and interact with? Only as a restriction based on whether I feel that person would harm her in some manner or not.
Do you control a girl's thoughts? I don't think that is possible. No way for you to get into her head and control her thoughts. If you could why would you want to? Then you have a robot. What can be controlled is the outward expression of those thoughts.
A girls speech, I feel, should only be controlled only in that it be mannerly and appropriate for the situation. As far as controlling every minute, ever aspect of a girls life down to telling them when to go to the bathroom, etc...I don't have the time and she would be more hassle than she is worth. A girl needs to use her head for something besides holding her hair off her neck. A girl who requires micromanagement is worse than useless to me.
Mastery isn't about controlling a girl to the point of her being the same as a robot. You want a robot go to Radio Shack I always say. Doormats are located at any hardware store.
Interaction with the real world requires the ability for independent thought. There are times when a girl needs to make a decision then and there on the spot without calling her Owner first or waiting to be able to ask Him. A good girl can make that decision based on what she thinks her Owner would approve of. Of course that comes with time. If after an appropriate amount of time a girl is unable to do that then something is definitely wrong in my book.

That is an excellent question. It cuts to the root of many things. I think that if I were to try to have absolute control of everything risa says and does; I would wind up smothering her. To be the Master, does not mean to micromanage everything. That's My take on it, anyways. I know that there are people who disagree; and thing that controlling her every motion/action/thought is the way to go. My question to them is:
If you control all her actions and thoughts, how does she learn and grow? How does she not suffocate?
I am not advocating that We let the slaves run willy nilly; but if We do not allow them some room to grow, things can get ugly, and fast.

Like the paradox of the slave giving up all, total submission to find her freedom, so to does a Master have a workable paradox.
For a slave to give over absolutely, so does the Master need to take absolutely. I believe a Master needs to be in TOTAL control at all times. Having said that, it is to be recognized that a smart and capable Master masters the strengths/weaknesses of all (including Himself). I believe in a Gorean model, a Master could very well control every last bit of a slave...but the smart one knows to grow the house, he need to train the girl to fish not go fishing with her everyday. At some point, trust that a slave can carry out duties, trust that you have trained her sufficiently to do so, must be achieved.
